YOUR FEEDBACK IN ACTION >       Preview Features for Insiders   Office for Windows: Export animated GIFs with transparent backgrounds We're excited to share that when exporting to an animated GIF, a new option will allow you to make the background transparent. LEARN MORE ABOUT TRANSPARENT GIFS > Office for iOS: Try Read Mode in Word for easy reading As you scroll through a file, it can be easy to turn on editing capabilities without meaning to. To protect your documents from unwanted edits, we are making Read Mode the default mode when opening files in Word on your iPhone or iPad. CHECK OUT READ MODE > Office for Windows Create Power Query data types in Excel Power Query is a powerful and time-saving tool. With this feature, you can create custom data types from any data source and load them in the Excel grid as rich values. TRY CREATING A DATA TYPE > Office for Windows: Write faster using text predictions in Word, Outlook Text predictions help users write more efficiently by predicting text quickly and accurately. The feature reduces spelling and grammar errors and learns over time to give the best recommendations based on your writing style. EXPLORE TEXT PREDICTIONS > Office for Android: Delegate mailboxes This feature allows you to give permissions to manage your mail to someone else in your organization. Delegates can now add other mailboxes and grant permissions like sending an email on behalf of that mailbox. READ MORE > Office for Windows: Microsoft Editor gets an upgrade in Word, Outlook We're continually innovating and improving Microsoft Editor to ensure it is easy to work with and meets our user's expectations. We're pleased to announce a new change in how you can review spelling, grammar, and other intelligent suggestions in Word and Outlook. SEE MORE > Office for Windows: Pin important emails to the top of your mailbox We know many of you have wanted this feature for a long time. In fact, pinning emails received nearly 2,500 votes on UserVoice. We heard you! You can now keep track of emails you need to go back to or ones you'd like to save as a reminder by pinning them. It's always the best way because it gives us the information about your device, operating system and apps. In Android, your Word documents will now open in Mobile View, which offers a better viewing experience. In iOS, we released several features including the ability to use a pointing device, iPad home resign, handwritten text conversion, multiple window support, and more.
