We’re excited to announce Application Guard for Office is now available to preview to Office Insiders. Files from the internet and other potentially unsafe locations can contain viruses, worms, or other kinds of malware that can harm computers and data. Using this feedback and your telemetry, we have resolved these issues (and more!):

  • In Excel, we fixed an issue where the formula bar wouldn’t render completely after connection to a device was lost, like a remote session disconnect or monitor change.
  • In Outlook for Mac, the nested compose window no longer remains open for certain messages after sending.
  • In iOS, files protected with Information Rights Management can now be opened by authorized users signed into Office apps on iOS with personal accounts.

Read about these fixes and more in our release notes.
