Upload Center is being replaced by the in-app Files Needing Attention experience

Major update: Announcement started

Applied To: All

We previously announced the retirement of the Upload Center and its replacement with the in-app Files Needing Attention experience (MC190284 - September 2019). Based on learnings from our early rings, we made the decision to make additional changes to the code before we proceeded with the roll-out. We are now ready to move forward and apologize for any inconvenience.

Users in the Monthly Channel will begin seeing the Files Needing Attention experience mid-May 2020 and the feature will be rolled out gradually to all users. Our target for Semi Annual Targeted users is August 2020.

[How this will affect your organization]

The goal is to retire the Upload Center after August 2020 in the Monthly channel and after January 2021 in the Semi Annual Targeted channel.

Instruct users to go to File > Open > Files Needing Attention to Open/Discard files that did not save successfully.

[What you need to do to prepare]

Once the Upload Center is retired in August 2020, users will no longer be able to find the files that did not save successfully under the Upload Center. Instruct users to go to File > Open > Files Needing Attention to Open/Discard files that did not save successfully. You may consider updating your training and documentation as appropriate.
