You got it! Instead of having to press WIN + Shift + S, there’s an option to make the PrintScreen key default to screen snipping. Have you tried it yet? Turn it on under Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard. Finding and changing language defaults just got easier Based on your feedback, in 20H1 builds, we updated Language Settings to make it clearer which language was the default where, by adding a new section at the top of Settings > Time & Language > Language. Selecting any one of the entries in this section will take you to where you need to go to change it. Looking for a new wallpaper for your PC? The complete set of DX12 Ultimate features will be included in the retail version of Windows 10 version 20H1, but game developers in the Windows Insider Program don’t have to wait. We’ve put together a detailed guide to getting started with DirectX 12 Ultimate, which contains all the details you need to start supporting it today. Microsoft Game Stack brings developers the tools they need to create bold, immersive game experiences, and DX12 Ultimate is the ideal tool to amplify gaming graphics. DX12 Ultimate is the result of our ongoing investment in the DirectX 12 platform over the last five years to ensure that Xbox and Windows 10 remain at the very top of graphics technology. To further empower game developers to create games with stunning visuals, we enhanced features that are already beginning to transform gaming, such as DirectX Raytracing and Variable Rate Shading, and have added new major features, like Mesh Shaders and Sampler Feedback. GET STARTED WITH DIRECTX 12 ULTIMATE > Win32 spanning APIs available We have a new API that lets Win32 developers create great layouts when apps span across both screens of dual-screen devices. This API complements our existing UWP APIs, so all developers can take advantage of new dual-screen device experiences. With this, both UWP apps running natively and classic Win32 apps running in the container can adapt to having their windows positioned across two screens. LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS API > Windows ML now available on a Redist format Based on your feedback, we’re making Windows ML available to developers on a redistributable format, available as part of the ONNX Runtime GitHub repository. Along with the existing inbox delivery for Windows ML, moving forward, developers will be able to package Windows ML within their apps through an official Redist package. This lets AI-based apps get delivered to customers on older versions of Windows 10, as well as Windows 8.1.
